About The Junk ‘N Jam

To start everything off we have our Junk Madness bracket game going on through March. We announce the winners at this event.

The event itself is the 2nd annual basketball game between the IREP Recyclers and the Austin Compactors.

The IREP players are employees, friends and family of the company.

The Compactors’ players are citizens of Austin, some of which represent local schools, businesses or organizations.

It’s a REAL basketball game between people of various ages and backgrounds, but there are scripted moments, pop-culture references, goofy free throws and lots of fun and laughs.

Think MTV’s Rock and Jock from the 90s meets the Globetrotters.

Proceeds benefit two local nonprofits which citizens voted on: Austin Child Guidance Center & ATX KIDS CLUB.

You get to learn about local businesses, meet new people, have fun and support some great nonprofits.
